Hi friend, Daniel here.
Before starting, I want to send a special Thank You to the 16 wonderful people who subscribed to this newsletter last week.
Your support means a lot!!
Ok, let’s begin the trip. 😎
Let’s face it.
Traveling is a luxury, and it often costs a pretty penny to make it happen. Some common large expenses include:
• Airfare
• Finding a place to sleep
• Experiences and activities
Budgeting is the best way to save enough money for your adventure. Next, you have to sprinkle in some patience.
Here’s how to save up for trips:
I look at my current budget and see the least important expenses. For example, instead of having Disney+ and Netflix, I’ll trim it down to just one streaming provider or pause all accounts.
Look at your weekly expenses and see where you can trim the fat. Classes, subscriptions, dining out, coffee, drinking, etc., are all expenses we can change quickly.
All funds that I’ve managed to trim down automatically get bunched into one new category: “Trip money.”
Next, I review what I’m earning. If possible, I consciously set aside some money each week. Maybe it’s as little as $5 – the price of a single cup of coffee with a tip.
It will start small.
Over time, you’ll grow a nice little sum of money.
The next step is just (if not more important):
You must visualize your trip.
Think about it as much as possible. Create in your mind the experience. Watch videos, read articles, and do research. Keep that goal alive as much as possible.
As you build some financial momentum, the dream begins to snowball into reality.
Make the money you save untouchable. This means that no matter what, you won’t use it for anything but your trip.
Of course, life can happen. Emergencies can come up. What I mean here is, try your best.
If you have to use the money on something paramount, prioritizing health is more important.
Since your trip money is nearly untouchable, you may need to make sacrifices. You may need to wait to buy those new shoes or hold off on seeing a band you like.
You may need to say no to invitations and stay home more often. If your goal is to travel, it needs to take priority.
The last step is essential
Your mindset.
Tell yourself it’s possible, it’s doable, and that it’s going to happen.
Once you know in your heart and believe that it’s happening, you can make that trip a reality.
⚓️ Travel Quote of the Week
“Tourists don't know where they've been, travelers don't know where they're going.”

🧐 Did you know?
Florence, Italy is the capital of Tuscany. It’s in the western central part of the European nation. Tuscany is one of 20 administrative regions in the country. Tuscany was the epicenter of the Italian Rennaisance, and where the first piano was ever played. Bartolomeo Cristofori created the world’s first piano in around 1700 for Ferdinando de' Medici the Grand Prince of Tuscany.

Australia is home to two prominent indigenous groups, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It is speculated that the Aboriginal peoples migrated to the continent from Asia approximately 40,000 to 80,000 years ago.
There are over 200 Abornal languages, hundreds of dialects, and around 250 nations. Although highly diverse in customs, the four primary aspects of Aboriginal culture are land, family, law, and language.
Here is a map of where each Aboriginal group is located. This is from Evolve Communities

🏙 City Showcase
Antigua, Guatemala. If you dream of exploring a vibrant colonial-style city surrounded by volcanoes, visit Antigua. It’s located in Guatemala’s central highlands. Folks commonly referred to it as La Antigua.
It’s the capital of the Sacatepéquez Department in Guatemala and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
You will encounter gorgeous Baroque architecture, colorful buildings, cafes, restaurants, and many language schools to level up your Spanish.
How to get there: It’s about 25 miles from Guatemala City, the primary airport hub of the country. From there, it’s about one hour by bus or 40 minutes by car.
Notable sites: The most recognizable landmark is the Arco de Santa Catalina.
According to Lonely Planet, Semuc Champey is a series of limestone pools and excellent freshwater swimming.
You will need a shuttle to get there. Tikal National Park is filled with stunning Mayan ruins. If you’re a Star Wars fan (like me!), it’s also where some popular movie scenes were filmed.
Alight friends, we’ve reached the end of this week’s trip!
