So sorry for your loss. Glad you got to see your Uncle Mike one last time.

2025 taught me that I want to travel in a can again. After 14 years of wandering around we finally have a plan.

Thanks for the nice words. Travel in a can, or a van? Either way, I am sure you and Greg will get some wonderful trips in this year! Happy 2026 to you Duwan.

OK.! Hopefully in 3 months the van will be done and we will be on the road.

That’s exciting Duwan!

Take no one in your life for granted. You’re absolutely right. I’m sorry for your loss.

Thank you! Yes, absolutely. You never know how many chances you’ll get to spend time with your people. Wishing you a great 2026!

We had a lot of good trips in 2025, so travel taught me to be grateful for every moment and wonder in the world! For NYE we were in North Carolina and was told that we had to have black-eyed peas and collard greens because it was tradition so thanks for the history. And I'm sorry about your Uncle Mike and glad you got to see him.

Sounds like an eventful 2025 and so great you got to enjoy the NYE tradition! Thanks for the kind words Marlo. He was a great man and it was too soon, but we have a lot of good memories! Happy 2026 to you.

In Ecuador there is the same New Year’s superstition

Very interesting. Those superstitions can be a lot of fun. Wishing you a great 2026.

Daniel, I’m so sorry for your loss. Sounds like you were very close to your uncle. On the other hand, congrats on becoming a Dad! Very exciting. It’s almost like one door closes and another opens.
