Thanks for the shoutout Daniel and the extra information on Candombe! It was my favorite part of visiting Uruguay. Also, I second the recommendation of using solid shampoo, conditioner, and soap! It’s easier to pack and lasts so much longer when you’re traveling for longer periods.

For sure Ashleigh! You inspired me, so thank you for teaching me something new about Uruguayan culture! Using solid toiletries is something I've dabbled in but not shampoo yet. Will definitely use it on the next trip.

These are great tips!

Can I suggest one more? Always pack heavy stuff at the bottom of the suitcase ;)

I'm happy you found them useful. So true - heavy stuff on top is a disaster waiting to happen. That's great advice. Thanks for reading and the comment!

I use the same hacks, especially the solid soap and stuff socks or things in the shoes, sometimes I use the compression bags.

That's great you already use them, Flavio! Compression bags have been effective for me unless I lose the zip lock piece. Then they become a challenge sometimes. Thanks for the comment!

I use them only when I need to bring a bulky clothes, and I realized that I need to invest in them because the cheap ones are cheap for a reason.

I guess I need to upgrade then! Yes, bulky clothes do great with them.
