The best thing I ever did was to keep a journal during my travels, although I cringe at reading some of my entries, lol.

Aside from being able to write a book based on them (Daniel, it's for sale now!), my entries really took me back to the moments I experienced.

Oh yes I can agree - definitely some entries that should stay only in the journal! I think being able to write a book is the next step up from journals so that's wonderful you made it happen. Congrats Toni! Thanks for the comment, too.

Really fascinating history about the banh mi, Dan! I love how the Vietnamese put a twist on their food culture after regaining control from the French.

Thanks for the comment Ashleigh. Food is it's own lesson in history for sure! When I learned more about the history I appreciated the sandwich even more.

Wow, thank you! You're so right...paper or digital, it doesn't matter as long as you're not trying to keep all those memories and moments in your head. That never works. It doesn't have to be time consuming or perfect. Just a few minutes and you'll build something your future self will always be thankful you did.

Absolutely, Chris! I learned my memories get fuzzy over time haha. The benefit of digital is you can write so much more in shorter periods of time. Although my heart is with paper, I do some digital notes as well. Thanks for reading!
